چکیده
Reducing the size of directive and wideband antennas operating in Very High-Frequency band is a major challenge for small satellite integration. At 100 MHz, wavelength 3 m, reduction will make integration easier reduces fabrication costs. The original technique presented this paper enables significant height (up to 50%) crossed Magneto-Electric Dipole antenna while maintaining an ultra-wideband operation bandwidth from 93 360 MHz (118%). proposed based on adding frequency reconfigurable capability structure. has been prototyped experimentally characterized large-sized anechoic chamber. measured results are excellent agreement with full-wave electromagnetic simulated results.

Low-cost, compact UWB antenna with frequency band- notch function
Low-cost, compact, circular planar dipole UWB antennas have been designed, based on the ‘two-penny dipole’. One of the dipole arms has been integrated with the ground plane of a microstrip transmission line, the strip being connected to the other dipole arm. The use of microstrip in stead of stripline technology hardly degrades the radiation characteristics, but simplifies the antenna architect...
متن کاملCompact Frequency Reconfigurable Microstrip Antenna with Controllable Band- Notched Performance for UWB Application
In this paper, a new design of a frequency reconfigurable microstrip antenna by using microstrip line feeding for UWB applications is presented. The process of frequency band rejection is done through the slots on the radiation patch and ground plane of antenna. Also the antenna bandwidth has been improved by using partial Defected Ground Structure (DGS). Then by putting two switches on the gro...
متن کاملReconfigurable Notch Band Antenna for UWB Application: A Review
Microstrip Patch antenna is generally used in a number of antenna systems because of their low profile, light weight, low cost, compactness etc. Patch antenna is also used with Microwave IC’s and Monolithic Microwave IC’s because of its compatibility. Reconfigurable band notches in UWB antennas are dynamic research area. The advantage of the antenna with reconfigurable band notch is to efficien...
متن کاملQuantitative analysis on electric dipole energy in Rashba band splitting
We report on quantitative comparison between the electric dipole energy and the Rashba band splitting in model systems of Bi and Sb triangular monolayers under a perpendicular electric field. We used both first-principles and tight binding calculations on p-orbitals with spin-orbit coupling. First-principles calculation shows Rashba band splitting in both systems. It also shows asymmetric charg...
متن کاملDesign and parametric analysis of a dual band frequency reconfigurable planar dipole using a dual band artificial ground plane
This paper presents the design of dual band frequency reconfigurable fork shape planar dipole in the Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) band (2.4GHz and 5.2 GHz). The proposed antenna can be used for WLAN applications. Antenna operates in dual as well as single band mode depending on switching combination. The proposed antenna gives bandwidth of 12.5% and 6.7% for 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz resp...
